I Want To Go To Heaven

The first thing we must know is just what is sin. I think we all know that the things we do and say if they do not please God is sin, but sin is much more. It goes back to the garden of Eden. We are aware of how Eve was tempted by the Serpent to partake of the fruit of the tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. GENESIS 3: 1-5 She did eat of the forbidden tree, but her sin was minor as to compared to that of man. You see man was not tempted to eat
of the forbidden fruit. Woman gave this fruit to man and he did eat. GENESIS 3:5 Man willingly chose Woman over God. This is how the sin nature entered into the world.

Where Sin Came From:
Romans 5:12

"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin:
and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."

This is known as the sin nature. Did you ever notice you do not have to teach a child to do wrong? That is the sin nature at work. We all have it.

Who is Good?
Romans 3:10

"As it is written. There is none righteous, no, not one."

Who Has Sinned?
Romans 3:23

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

All of our good deeds and good works added all together fall far short of heaven.
Sin can not enter Heaven and sin must be answered for.

For everything we do there is a price for our actions. If we drive too fast the penalty is set for this crime by the laws of our society. We must pay the fine. God is totally righteous and sin free. God cannot look on sin. That's why when Christ was on the cross God had to turn His Back on Christ. Christ became sin for Us. St. Mark 15:33-34

God's Price on Sin:
Romans 6:23

"For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of
God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Remember there is nothing we could do that would justify our going to Heaven. If there were then why did God send Christ to die on the cross for our sins? If we try to do good deeds to work our way to Heaven, we make a mockery of Christ's death on the cross.
How are you going to explain that when you stand before God ?

OUR WAY OUT !!
Romans 5:8

"But God commendeth His love toward us,
in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 10:13

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Romans 10:9-10

"That is thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead,
THOU SHALT BE SAVED.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness:
and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

God didn't say you might be saved if you do this or that. He said you will be saved no ifs buts or maybes. This salvation is a free gift to you all you have to do is take what is freely given. This life eternal living in Heaven it is yours for the asking.

So, if you believe that Jesus Christ truly is the Son of God
and
He died on the Cross for our sins and not His own
Then Bow your head and close your eyes and Pray this Prayer

Lord, I Confess I am a sinner. Come into my heart
and take me to Heaven when I die.

That's all you must do. Now do you feel that little tingly feeling in your soul ?
That's the Holy Spirit living in your heart.
